Your Fall Driveway Checklist

Fall is on its way which means it’s time to start preparing your driveway for it. Here are some things you should do to prepare your driveway for Fall:

  • Clean your gutters: If your gutters are clogged, the water will get stuck and could run onto your driveway and cause damage. Make sure that you regularly clean your gutters to prevent this from happening. It’s also important to check that your downspout isn’t pointed towards your driveway.
  • Repair any cracks: If cracks are left unrepaired, water can seep into them and turn into ice. This would cause the crack to expand and cause more damage.
  • Clean your driveway: Leaves, dirt, and debris will build on your driveway during the fall. This debris will most likely fall into cracks on your driveway and cause damage. You can use a broom to help get rid of the dirt and debris.
