How to Remove Stubborn Fall Stains from Your Driveway

Fall is a very beautiful season with its crisp air and beautiful leaves; however, wet leaves left on your driveway can create stubborn stains. Here are some ways you can try to remove those stubborn stains:

  • Vinegar and Water Solution: A little bit of vinegar mixed with some water can go a long way. Apply the mixed solution to the stains and let it soak for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, scrub the area with a stiff brush and then rinse with water.
  • Soap and Water: While it’s a simple mixture, a simple solution is often enough. First use a leaf blower to remove all loose leaves and debris. Pour the soapy water over the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes and then use a stiff brush to scrub.
  • Using a Pressure Washer: Using a pressure washer should be a last resort for really tough stains. Hold the nozzle at a consistent distance and sweep back and forth in even strokes.
